Designed to be worn on the face, the material is soft and elastic, so it adjusts to fit the size of your face. Removable PM2.5 filters slot inside for an added layer of protection, and can be replaced as needed.

Washing Your Fashion Mask

Wash only in cold water with mild detergent by hand — machine washing will break the material down more quickly. Do not leave in the sun to dry; it's best to place your mask in a well-ventilated or shady area.

These masks can be washed a maximum of 5 times, as each wash will thin the material slightly. The time between washes depends on use, environment and contamination level. If worn for a full day, we recommend washing within 1 to 3 days.

What Is the Best Mask to Wear? This depends entirely on your activities, the environment you're wearing it in, and how long you'll wear the mask. A KN95 mask offers a higher level of filtration (equivalent to P2 or N95) than the Fashion mask. If you're travelling on public transport, shopping, or out around town, this mask is fantastic. If you're socialising with sick people or working on very dusty job sites, a different mask is advisable — we'd recommend the KN95 / P2 mask for superior protection.

Everyday Environments

Great for public transport, shopping, and being out around town, where multiple uses out of one mask is ideal.

Construction & Trades

Suited to those working with concrete, underground, or on dusty job sites, helping reduce exposure to concrete and sawdust.

Health & Pollution Conscious

Ideal for reducing exposure to pollution, bushfire smoke, and being around unwell persons, when correctly worn.

Putting On and Checking the Mask

Remove any accessories on your head, including glasses, caps or headphones.

Place the mask over your mouth and nose.

Place the rubber strap, or tie the cord, around the back of your head or ears (depending on the model). The mask should hold itself in place and not fall off when you bend over.

Ensure the mask is covering your nose and chin correctly. You want to limit the amount of air that can come through this area.

Check the mask is still sealed around your mouth and chin.

Check you can breathe by gently inhaling and exhaling. If you notice any air leaks, adjust the mask and check again. Different mask styles may fit or leak differently if not worn correctly — it can take a while to get used to, so maintain a normal, steady breathing pattern.

Face masks can help filter out dust and water droplets. These masks are washable and reusable, offering a great alternative to disposable masks, with a form-fitting material. When worn, they help limit exposure to smoke, pollution, concrete or sawdust, water or virus particles, and some vapours. The mask must be properly fitted to the face to be effective. If you require superior protection, we'd recommend the KN95 / P2 mask.
