System Details & Common Questions
Setting Up the NHA PRO
Everything is configured in our office before it reaches you, so setup at home is genuinely simple — the wireless HUB just needs to be plugged into a power point. If you have internet on site, connect it via an ethernet cable straight into your router or modem, or we can set it up to run on your WiFi instead.
The pendants and wall buttons run on a long-life battery, which suits anyone who'd rather not think about charging a wearable device regularly. Coverage extends around 800m in open air from the HUB — plenty for a house and yard, though it's a property-based system and won't work once you're out and about, at the shops for example.
What Happens When a Button Is Pressed
Pressing a pendant or wall button sends a signal to the HUB, which places a recorded phone call to your programmed numbers and follows up with an SMS. If there's no 4G signal available at the time, the system can instead report the alert straight to a phone app — though this isn't needed at all if mobile coverage is present.
The NHA PRO is best suited to residential homes, retirement villages, or hospital settings where someone on site can respond once a duress signal comes through.

The system runs on your NBN or WiFi connection, backed by an included 4G SIM. Keeping this maintained costs $125 per year. It's a flexible setup, and we'll tailor the exact connection method to whatever's available on site.

No — it runs on your NBN, WiFi or general internet connection, with a 4G SIM included as backup. No landline is required.
What if there's no 4G signal available?
