NHA developed this alarm watch with firmware built exclusively for our Australian customers — it's not something you'll come across through any other supplier.
A single press of the SOS button triggers an alert, or the watch's fall detector can raise one automatically. Either way, your precise GPS coordinates are sent straight to your chosen contacts by text — tapping the link launches Google or Apple Maps on their end, giving them a clear picture of where you are.
When the call goes through, conversation happens hands-free via the watch's loudspeaker, exactly as though you'd answered a regular phone call. Should the first contact miss it, the device keeps working down your list until somebody picks up.
False alarm? No problem. Watch beeps and you can click cancel on the screen to end the call.

SOS Button & Emergency Calling
Press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds, or let the automatic fall detector trigger it for you, and the watch calls up to 3 emergency contacts — or your chosen 24/7 monitoring team. If a contact doesn't answer within 15 seconds, our voicemail-avoidance firmware automatically moves to the next contact. Once answered, you speak hands-free through 2-way voice calling, just like a phone on speaker. Contacts can also call the watch directly at any time.
Fall Detection
The built-in automatic fall detector is active from the moment your watch arrives, with adjustable sensitivity to suit the wearer. If a fall is detected, the watch calls your emergency contacts exactly as if the SOS button was pressed. Our support team can help fine-tune sensitivity for the life of the product, free of charge, to reduce false alarms while keeping real emergencies covered.
GPS Tracking & Geo-Fence
Locate the wearer on Google Maps any time, not just during an emergency. When SOS or fall detection is triggered, a GPS link is texted straight to your contacts' phones and opens instantly in Google or Apple Maps. Advanced Mode adds Geo-Fencing — set a safe area on the map and get an alert the moment the wearer travels outside it, ideal for dementia care or wandering risk.
Waterproof & Battery Life
Rated IP67, the watch can be worn in the shower, rain, or while washing hands — fresh water only, not for submersion. Battery life runs 2–7 days depending on use and signal strength; areas with weaker reception use more battery as the watch works harder to maintain connection. We recommend charging daily or every second day to build a simple habit.

Does the NHA Personal Medical Watch need a mobile app?
No — in Simple Mode, the watch works entirely on its own, with no app to download or learn. We program it for you before it ships. If you'd like remote app control and Geo-Fencing, Advanced Mode adds a companion app and can be added anytime.
Can I change the emergency contacts myself?
Yes — you can update contact numbers yourself by SMS, or our team can make the change for you remotely at no charge, for the life of the product. No confusing settings menus required.
Is the watch waterproof?
Yes, it's IP67 rated, so it's safe in the shower, rain, or while washing hands. It isn't designed for swimming or full submersion.
How long does the battery last?
Typically 2–7 days between charges, depending on how often the watch is used and local signal strength. Charging is simple — just place it on the magnetic dock.
Are there ongoing fees, and can I cancel?
The $475 price includes 12 months of emergency calls. After that, monitoring continues at $90/year (Family & Friends) or $35/month (24/7 Professional) — whichever you choose. There are no lock-in contracts, so you can cancel monitoring at any time.
Is this watch eligible for NDIS or My Aged Care funding?
Many of our customers use NDIS or My Aged Care funding to purchase an NHA alarm. If you're a participant, plan manager, or care coordinator, use our quote request form and we'll send a formal quote or invoice you can submit for approval.
What makes this different from a cheaper watch alarm?
The NHA Personal Medical Watch runs genuine NHA firmware, built under an exclusive manufacturing contract — not generic hardware sold under different labels. Every watch arrives fully programmed and ready to use, backed by free Australian-based technical support for the life of the product.
Do I need to supply my own SIM card?
